I purchased this product and after 8 months the unit started buzzing and the freezer and fridge lights flickered continuously. It took 3 days for and engineer to come out, and then a further 3 weeks for the parts, hopefully being fitted in 2 days time. Very poor customer service and been without the fridge freezer for over 3 week is unacceptable, Hotpoint customers services do not give a damn. I will never buy Hotpoint again!!

Cons: Poor customer service, product very plasticy!!

I bought mine direct from hotpoint/indesit. It has developed a fault whereby the ice/drinks lamp flickers constantly on its own when the freezer motor is running. After two visits from an engineer direct from hotpoint themselves it has still not been resolved. I have since had two further visits incorrectly arranged/cancelled by the hotpoint service department and so am not impressed at all with the manufacturer's after sales support.

Pros: At least it is one side by side freezer that comes in white for those who have white kitchens!
Cons: very poor after sales service from hotpoint
