First up DSCi4’s Masheen steps up to rework Recon’s last release, Prode & Logical’s ‘El Nino’. Twisting up the original in fine style, this latest re-rub is a mash of crunking drums, syncopated synth lines and mouldable basslines. On the flip the Cannon Boys team up with Prode for the Techno rinse of ‘The Grinder’, a filthy and funky affair featuring obscure bleeps, stepping breaks and a swoopingly epic atmospheric backdrop.
