I placed an online order via their website several weeks ago. I've had no acknowledgement, no delivery, no e-mail, no phone response, no IM response. For all I know they've gone bankrupt and forgotten to shut down their website. Avoid at all costs.

We had contacted the customer by email using the email address supplied shortly after the order had been placed and until we
received a response, we left the order open and inline with our
deferred payment policy, we did not deduct any money from the customers card. When an order is placed through Red Onions a confirmation email is automatically sent, it
is possible that this was trapped by a spam filter.
As we are a legitimate trader, with published trading results, VAT
registered and a member of the Federation of Small Businesses, we do take
very seriously, our customers complaints.
The complaiantant could have contacted us via email, or post to our published office address.
Alternatively, the complainant could have logged onto their account on the Red Onions website and the relevant
notes could have been inspected.

Pretty dire to be honest. Nobody answers the phone or emails. eventually got fed up of the lack of comunication and waiting so wanted to cancel the order. Had to go through paypals resolution centre to try for a refund because i was not able to get a response when contacting red onions directly. To my suprise i was given a refund pretty much immediately.
Maybe i just caught them at the wrong time, but if you are going to order something from there then, as one of the other comments says, try and get hold of them about the product you want before you go ahead and order it. You might save yourself alot of hassle.

Having ordered a camera for a work colleague's leaving gift, over a week ago, i tried to phone today to find out where it is. There is no answer on the phone number given on the site, it gives a "calls to this number are being diverted" message and then cuts off. I'm now very concerned! Poor service at best, and i'd advise other buyers not to order online but only if they can phone and speak to this company first!
